Burj Khalifa – You cannot start any list of things to do in Dubai without starting at the Burj Khalifa! This 828m high building is the tallest building in the world and there are quite a few surprising things you can do here. There are observation decks on levels 124, 125 and 148 which provide stunning bird’s view of the city. On one side, On one side you can admire the sea while on the other you can imagine the nearby desert! From the viewing platforms, you also get to enjoy the beauty of the Dubai Fountains show, which is modelled on the famous Bellagio fountains of Las Vegas.

The Palm – The Palm Jumeirah is the famous man-made island that is the home to the most luxurious hotels and resorts in Dubai, including The Atlantis. This architectural marvel is where you’ll find the golden sandy beaches to relax and recharge. If you want to experience a luxurious gateaway, this is where you need to looking to stay. But even if you are not staying here, there are still plenty of things to experience here. including some of the best places to eat and drink in Dubai, including starting your day with a boozy brunch!

Sailing around the Palm, in a yatch, a speedboat, or even a paddleboat, is another popular thing to do here. At the Atlantis, you could also chose to swim with the dolphins and get close to the sealions at the Dolphin Bay.

Night Life – Dubai has a lot to offer when it comes to a vibrant and varied night life. Dubai has a dedicated district that is lined with restaurants, clubs and bars, called Medinat Jumeirah. Another nice place to go out at night is the Dubai Marina. It is located along a canal and boasts of a number of restaurants, cafes and boutiques. This neighborhood is ideal for couples who want to make a long romantic walk, and then relax in one of the restaurants that offer spectacular views of the canal and of the Dubai skyline.

The legal drinking age in Dubai is 21 years of age and night clubs always adhere to this rule. For visitors, a passport is an acceptable form of ID, while for residents, an Emirates ID or a driving license will suffice. If you plan on drinking alcohol make sure you take a cab back home or wherever you plan on going after; the UAE has absolutely a zero-tolerance approach to drinking and driving and police are very vigilant; getting caught will guarantee jail time.

Desert Safari – Last, but not the least, if you are in Dubai, you have to try out the desert safari experience. Dedicated tour operators, run Desert Safari Experience. It is a magnet for adrenaline junkies and you can take part in exciting activities such as camel rides, quad bike rides, dune buggy rides and dune bashing. Theme Parks – Dubai is home to some of the most wonderful and unique theme parks in the world. According to the Dubai Parks and Resort’s, they are the Middle East’s largest integrated theme park destination. It is the home to three world-class theme parks and one water park, as well as Riverland Dubai, the grand entrance plaza, and a Polynesian themed family resort.

The three theme parks are the Legoland, Motiongate and Bollywood Dubai. The water park is the Legoland Water Park.

Advance Booking is always adviseable and you’ll normally get a discount if you buy online. This is a perfect destination for families, couple and even solo travellers.

Best time to visit  – Thers is never a bad time to visit Dubai, but weatherwise, the best time to visit will be between December – April. Temperatures at this time are reasonably comfortable and rarely drop below 25°C. This is ideal for both exploring the city and relaxing on the beach. However, this is when Dubai gets the bulk of its visitors. So if you are looking for a quieter experience, June – September might be best for you. But this is the peak of Dubai summer and temperatures can soar up to 41°C. Add to that the high humidity, it can get real sticky quite quickly!
